According to the Manchester Evening News, Paul Pogba is doing extra training sessions to work on his recovery from ankle injury ahead of his anticipated return to training this week.
The 26-year-old has only started six times for the Red Devils this season and last featured for Manchester United in the 4-1 victory at home to Newcastle United in December before undergoing ankle surgery (Transfermarkt).
Pogba has featured in 150 games during his time at Old Trafford, bagging 31 goals and creating 31 assists in all competitions for the club so far. The Frenchman is currently rated at a whopping £90m via Transfermarkt.
The World Cup Winner is somewhat of a polarising figure amongst the Old Trafford faithful. Writing in the Manchester Evening News football editor Liam Corless noted “his concentration levels in matches is questionable and he does not perform to his full potential nearly enough.”
Unsurprisingly Pogba’s latest injury update has divided the fan base. Some fans have expressed their excitement on social media while others suggested they have lost interest in the United star. One supporter even tweeted “I’m sick of hearing about this guy.”

Sources claim he’s just charging his phone and making the most of the free wifi

I’m not saying he doesn’t love the club but that doesn’t mean he’s staying. He’s aiming to get himself back in shape because he doesn’t want to miss the Euros, so it’s in his benefit too.

Thought he didn’t care?
Get him and Bruno behind Martial and watch the goals flood in.
