Speaking to BT Sport via blame FOOTBALL, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has waxed lyrical over £47 million January signing Bruno Fernandes after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men brushed aside the Belgian outfit on Thursday.
A brace from Fred, alongside strikes courtesy of Scott McTominay, Odion Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes, sealed a brilliant Europa League second-leg victory at Old Trafford – resulting in United sailing through to the Last 16 in style with a 5-0 win. Fernandes, who joined the club from Sporting Lisbon in January, displayed a particularly noteworthy performance – opening the scoring with a penalty and having three shots on target before coming off midway through the second half.
