Manchester United: Red Devils fans discuss Odion Ighalo’s comments on Bruno Fernandes

Many Manchester United fans have reacted to Odion Ighalo’s latest comments on Bruno Fernandes, after the forward explained why he has been so impressed with the Portuguese via the club’s official website.

Speaking to the United Hangout, the Nigerian striker has tipped his teammate for greatness. Ighalo told Stewart Gardner and sports journalist Babatunde: “he is intelligent, he has foresight, he has vision. He sees what he wants to do with the ball before it comes to him.”

He added: “you can see the understanding between him and Martial, you can see the understanding between me and him, so he’s a very good player. And he’s not even settled yet!

“He comes from a very different place to the Premier League. When that guy has settled down, he’s going to take the Premier League by storm.”

Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford amid great fanfare from Sporting Lisbon for £47m back in January. Despite only joining halfway through the season, the Portuguese magnifico has certainly made up for lost time, bagging 3 goals and producing 4 assists in just 9 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side (Transfermarkt).
