Manchester United: Red Devils fans disgusted by latest club leak

Barcelona accidentally leaked Manchester United’s 2020/21 home kit on YouTube, uploading an image of the new strip before realising their mistake.

Although Barca eventually took down the error, trigger-happy fans had already screenshotted the thumbnail, and it quickly circulated around the internet on social media.

Off the back of this latest blunder, it is clear the home shirt will still feature the classic background from the famous Red Devils jersey, although the top is now plastered with vertical black and yellow stripes, and a bold white Adidas logo.

United inked an agreement with Adidas worth a colossal £750m all the way back in 2014 after its predecessor Nike pulled out of Old Trafford at the end of the previous season (BBC). The German sportswear behemoth have the rights to continue making Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side’s strip until at least 2024.

Plenty of United supporters were disgusted by the latest leak, with one fan branding the print as “disgusting,” and another lamenting “you had one job.” Several amusingly pointed out the design’s similarities to Minecraft and bus seat covers.
