Manchester United: Red Devils fans fume at latest Paul Pogba update

Some Manchester United fans were fuming after the Athletic reported Paul Pogba is expected to return to training on Tuesday.

Sources told the sports journalism website Pogba has made massive progress in his injury recovery and has been undergoing personal sessions with club legend Michael Carrick to prove his fitness levels.

The French World Cup winner has played in 150 games and scored 31 goals for the Red Devils since rejoining in the 2016 summer transfer window. However, Pogba has only featured in 7 Premier League matches due to long-term ankle problems (Transfermarkt, where he is also valued at £90m).

Despite the league being suspended in light of recent events, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are set to report for first-team training at Carrington, although it is currently unclear when United will play next.
