Manchester United: Red Devils fans gush over Odion Ighalo’s Europa League performance

Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo opened the scoring against LASK with a superb strike and naturally loads of Red Devils have been praising his sensational performance on Twitter.

The Nigerian forward took a pass at his feet from Bruno Fernandes, switched the ball from his right foot to the left, and smashed it into the top left-hand corner of the goal.

Ighalo was substituted at 85 minutes and finished the Europa League first-leg victory with a goal, an assist, a staggering 100% pass accuracy rate, 5 successful dribble attempts and a high statistical rating of 8.5 via SofaScore.

The 30-year-old has scored in every game he has started for Manchester United this season, netting 4 goals in 3 starts, including registering a brace against Derby County in the FA Cup earlier this month (Transfermarkt).

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side cruised to a comfortable 5-0 win over the Austrian side, with additional goals from Daniel James, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira.
