Shanghai Shenhua will demand £15m from Manchester United for Odion Ighalo if the club want to keep the striker in the summer, via the Mirror.
Ighalo is currently on loan until the end of the season and has made an instant impact at Old Trafford. The 30-year-old has bagged 4 goals and 1 assist in 8 games across all competitions for the Red Devils since joining in January (Transfermarkt).
Former Watford and Udinese forward Ighalo scored an incredible screamer against LASK in the Europa League last 16 first-leg last Thursday (BBC).
Club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently hinted United are keen to make the contract permanent as the board already have the option to buy the Nigerian.
Ighalo’s market value is rated at just £5.85m via Transfermarkt but the Chinese side are looking for way more than that.
