Loads of Manchester United fans have shared their views on Twitter after Chris Smalling was included in WhoScored’s Serie A Team of the Season so far.

Smalling has been enjoying a successful spell on loan with AS Roma, making 2 interceptions on average, and providing 4.5 clearances per game. His impressive performances for the Yellow and Reds have earned the centre-back an overall rating of 7.11 per WhoScored.

The England international has made over 300 appearances for United, lifting the Premier League trophy twice, the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup. Smalling is currently valued at £18m via Transfermarkt.

However, his future at Old Trafford remains uncertain, as the 30-year-old only featured in 16 games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, before departing for Italy last summer.

Red Devils fan site UtdReport posted a screenshot of WhoScored’s Serie A Team of the Season on social media.
