Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey demonstrated once again why he is considered to be one of the best players in the world with a brilliant performance against Liverpool in the Champions League.
Partey has long been linked with a move to the Premier League over the years with Arsenal the latest club to express their interest in the defensive midfielder, according to Libertad Digital.
The Ghana international played a key role as Los Rojiblancos claimed a stunning 3-2 victory at Merseyside in the second leg, dumping the titleholders out of the competition.

Unsurprisingly loads of Manchester United fans have urged the club to sign the Ghanaian with one supporter noting he could be the “perfect Nemanja Matic replacement.” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently announced the Serbian veteran has signed a contract extension but he is now 31 and has only featured in 12 Premier League games so far (Transfermarkt).
