Manchester United: Fans devastated as Dortmund tell United they have missed the chance to sign Sancho - Manchester United Transfer Rumours

Manchester United are confident of completing a deal for Jadon Sancho this summer, despite the fact Borussia Dortmund chiefs have told the Red Devils they have missed their chance to sign Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target.

That’s according to The Daily Mail, as per @utdreport, who claim both clubs remain far apart in their valuation for the 11-cap England international.

Mail Sport news editor Charlie Skillen revealed Ed Woodward is relaxed about the situation as the executive vice-chairman is treating Monday’s deadline as purely artificial.

However, many fans still seem to be sceptical about the whole transfer saga, and you can check out their responses below.

Man United have been trying to sign Sancho for three years now, but to seemingly no avail.

The 20-year-old right winger has made it clear that he wants to sign for the Red Devils, as personal terms are not expected to be a problem.

Yet it seems Solskjaer is no closer to getting his man in the summer, as the two clubs have not reached an agreement over a transfer fee and the structure of the deal regarding payment as it stands.

Naturally, plenty of United fans slammed Woodward on social media, with several supporters tweeting “sack Ed” and “Woodward out.” Another added it is a “rubbish” decision to take so long to sort out a deal for a player the club have been chasing for some time.

Scroll through some of the scathing reactions so far…
