Mancini £48M Men Will Give City That Killer Bite They Lack

Manchester City are reportedly keen to sign Napoli attacking pair Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi come January, and first-team coach Fausto Salsano has admitted the duo are in the big spending club’s sights.

Roberto Mancini has previously admitted his desire to buy Lavezzi and strike partner Edinson Cavani, and the San Paolo side impressed in a 1-1 draw against City in the Champions Leagueearlier in the campaign.

With the Etihad Stadium outfit looking to compete both domestically and in Europe, Salsano has spoken of moving to sign the Serie A players in the new year.

“Manchester City are watching Napoli very carefully,” the Italian told a Naples radio station.

“I can confirm Mancini’s interest in Hamsik because I have been to watch the Slovak.

“Marek has become a very important player with the right experience. Lavezzi, on the other hand, is a devastating player who can hurt you one-on-one. Hamsik and Lavezzi are players we like because our aim is to do great things,” he concluded.

A move for the pair would seemingly defy logic given the attacking options at City’s disposal, but with Sheik Mansour’s millions behind him Mancini may look to reinforce his squad come January.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
