Punters in the Transfer Tavern are having to stop their sides from splitting following a rather incredible comparison from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
Leicester City controversially sacked Claudio Ranieri last night, just a matter of months after guiding the Foxes to a shock Premier League title and just one day after his side claimed an all-important away goal against Sevilla in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Inevitably, the move has split opinion, with Leicester legend and Match of the Day host Gary Lineker describing it as ‘unforgivable and inexplicable’.
After all that Claudio Ranieri has done for Leicester City, to sack him now is inexplicable, unforgivable and gut-wrenchingly sad.

It’s become the dominant story in the Premier League today and everybody’s had their say, including Liverpool gaffer Jurgen Klopp – who is known for his quick wit and comedic demeanour.
As covered by journalist James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, when asked about Ranieri’s abrupt departure, the Anfield boss replied…

That’s right, he’s put Ranieri’s dismissal in the same category as Donald Trump and Brexit!
Needless to say, Klopp’s comments have the Transfer Tavern’s patrons in stitches, and they’ve also created quite the stir on social media. In fact, fans on Twitter are having an absolute field day.
