Jorginho
The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are starting to believe that they’ll never sign Jorginho. According to Italian outlet CalcioNapoli24, the deal for the Italian midfielder should be concluded within 72 hours, although the fans feel like they’ve heard that one before as they fume over how long the deal has taken.

The deal should be concluded by Saturday if the reports are correct, although considering the Manchester club have been in talks for what feels like months now, you can understand the fans frustration at the fact that Jorginho hasn’t yet been unveiled as a Citizen. As long as the deal goes through the fans should be kept happy, but the club will want to avoid making them wait this long in future as the unrest has been building up.
Jorginho is only one deal though, and with Riyad Mahrez supposedly also on his way to the club, the fans may have to wait even longer before they’re content with their summer’s business. Pep Guardiola won’t mind as long as he gets his man eventually and has ample time to prepare with his full squad before the start of the new season. At the moment though, with Jorginho’s Italy missing out on a spot in Russia, talks should continue despite the start of the major tournament tomorrow.

The deal for Jorginho has no real urgency to it. The player isn’t playing at the World Cup and with just under two months until the new Premier League season the deal can afford to take its time, although the City fans will be hoping it’s wrapped up as soon as possible.
