Meet The £7m Rated French Eye-catcher Scouted By Kenny, Fergie & Villas

Liverpool are interested in signing French midfielder Benjamin Corgnet, according to Calciomercato..com. Corgnet, who plies his trade with newly-promoted French First Division side Dijon, has been impressing several teams with his performances this season.

Corgnet has been one of the stand out players in France this year, scoring 6 goals in 13 appearances from midfield for Dijon. Apparently, as well as Liverpool, other English sides such as Manchester Unied and Chelsea have also been keeping an eye on the midfielder.

But it is Liverpool, who have reportedly been scouting the 24 year-old for some time, that are interested in making an offer for him, possibly as early as January.

Corgnet has a buy-out clause of just €7m in his contract at Dijon and with the club currently sitting second bottom in Ligue 1, they are resigned to losing their star player in the very near future.
