After Middlesbrough announced the departure of forward Martin Braithwaite yesterday to La Liga outfit Leganes, fans took to Twitter to show their delight.
Almost all the fans were glad to see the player leave, who they believed lacked the heart and desire to play for the club. It had long been speculated that he would be leaving the club, after he requested to leave in the summer. However, a lot of the fans are disappointed it is only a loan move, as they have clearly expressed that they do not want him back at the Riverside.
Braithwaite only managed three league goals this season, all scored in August, which goes a long way in explaining why the club have had so many troubles scoring this season. The Denmark international looked like he simply did not care, and is now getting what he wanted.
