Middlesbrough target Ali Reghba attracting even more interest

Middlesbrough will be desperate to pick up where they left off after the international break as they secured all three points against Wigan Atheltic last time out.

Boro have been one of the standout performers in the Championship this season, which has put them in a promising position to kick on and secure automatic promotion. However, it appears as if they suffered a setback on the transfer front recently, as according to Football Insider, Brentford and Leicester are interested in Ali Reghba.

Reghba, who plays for League of Ireland side Bohemians, has just completed a two-week trial at Middlesbrough and he is thought to have impressed during his stint on Teesside.

But, it now looks as if they’ll face stiff competition to secure his services as Leicester City and Brentford have joined the chase for the centre-forward.

And, it’s thought that Leicester have now expressed an interest to Bohemians to take the highly-rated forward on trial so that they can cast an eye over the teenager at close quarters.

THE VERDICT:

Ali Reghba has the potential to become a future star in English football if he decides to make the right move, with his development being key at the age of 18.

Middlesbrough will be hoping to secure his services after witnessing his impressive trial at the club, but the pulling power of Leicester City could cause them lots of trouble.

The teenager scored two goals on his debut for Bohemians and has been very impressive on international duty with the Republic of Ireland’s Under-19s, so it’s safe to say he is very much in-form and thriving.
