Alfredo Morelos continues to be linked with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, who have already had a bid rejected for the South American this summer.
Indeed, the Colombian striker was one of the Bluenoses standout performers in the last campaign, and has established himself as one of the most promising strikers in world football.
Rangers are already short on numbers in the strikers department, so losing the 22-year-old could put them in even more trouble with the new Scottish Premiership campaign not too far away.
Rangers have been linked with a move for Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson for some time now, but bitter rivals Celtic are also interested in bringing him to Scotland.
The 21-year-old could be tempted by Champions League football in the next campaign, which would give Celtic the upper-hand in the race for the attacker and a psychological advantage heading into the domestic season.
He has just signed a new deal but a tempting loan offer could be the way to go.
