Moshiri made a big mistake by signing Ramirez and Tosun

Everton have been one of the form teams in the Premier League recently as they continue to work towards securing a European spot.

The Toffees have been a force to be reckoned with under the guidance of Marco Silva as he finally appears to have identified a winning formula at Goodison Park.

However, things haven’t all been positive for the club in the past year or so, with problems off the field halting their progress at times and really causing them trouble. Indeed, Farhad Moshiri hasn’t always made the best of decisions, with a couple of transfer problems resulting in a number of issues.

With that in mind, it’s obvious that Farhad Moshiri has made these TWO mistakes…

SIGNING SANDRO RAMIREZ

Sandro Ramirez has been simply useless since securing a move to Goodison Park, with loan spells now being the norm for the Spaniard. Indeed, the striker could easily go down as one of the worst signings that the club has ever secured having managed to score only one goal in the blue shirt.

So, after the horrific summer transfer window of 2017, it’s safe to say that Ramirez was as low as it got for Everton.

SIGNING CENK TOSUN

Cenk Tosun is another signing that is still yet to live up to expectations as he just hasn’t been able to find his feet in front of goal on a consistent basis. Everton paid £27 million for the striker back in January of this year, so it wasn’t as if the 27-year-old was a cheap purchase.

The Turkish international has only managed to grab a couple of goals so far this season and has been reduced to the substitutes’ bench on a number of occasions due to poor performances, so it comes as no surprise that the forward is being linked with a move away from Goodison Park less than a year on from signing.
