On Sunday, the punters in the Transfer Tavern will be keeping a close eye on the telly as Man Utd take on Spurs at Old Trafford.

United have drawn a massive 6 of their last 8 Premier League games which have seriously dented their chances in the league as they sit 13 points behind league leaders, Chelsea.
The Transfer Tavern elite have pondered over Mourinho’s credentials and believe it is only a matter of time before the misfiring Red Devils get back to their best.

NULLIFY KANE
England international Harry Kane is back to his brilliant best and Man Utd need to keep him in check.
Despite a poor summer for England, Kane has returned from his latest injury in fine form and scoring goals.
With no Chris Smalling, Man Utd’s strongest centre back, statistically, is Daley Blind who at 5ft 11″ is not tall enough to contend with the Spurs target man.
Mourinho must play Phil Jones alongside Marcos Rojo in defence; both centre-backs are great in the air and quick on the ground.
The Red Devils have shown that they are not good enough against skilful players and will need to play two defensive midfielders in front of the back four for extra protection.
BE CLINICAL
Man Utd have been poor in front of goal and need to take their chances if they are to beat Spurs.
Spurs are defensively strong and opportunities will be limited, so Man Utd MUST be efficient in front of goal.
Zlatan will be given the responsibility of leading the line but Mourinho needs to demand more goals from the team.
Anthony Martial was bright against Everton in last weekend’s fixture and Paul Pogba, as he proved at Juventus, is more than capable of scoring goals too.
Juan Mata has just 3 goals this term and Rashford’s progress has slowed down.

Man Utd have been poor at killing games off this season due to the fact they are conceding late and not scoring enough goals.
United, realistically could have secured up to eight more points if they had taken their chances and seen games out.
They failed, yet again, to see the game out against Everton last weekend and this must change against Spurs.
