The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been jumping for joy today. The club has so far had an exciting transfer window and it’s only just beginning. Mohamed Salah signed a new five-year deal today and could be quickly followed by Sadio Mane signing a similar deal, according to journalist David Maddock on Twitter.
Salah: 5 year contract. Firmino: 5 years. Keita: 5 years. Fabinho: 5 years. Brewster 5 years. Van Dijk: 5 years. Trent 4 years. Ox: 4 years. Robertson 4 years. Gomez: 4 years. Woodburn 4 years. Solanke 4 years. Mane: offered 5 years. Klopp (4 years): "We're never gonna stop".

Sadio Mane is one of the best players at Anfield. Not only does the electric Senegalese forward provide goals and assists, but he brings a feel-good factor to the Merseyside club and plays with a smile on his face at all times. The fans could be gifted with another five-years of that soon though, as the charismatic forward looks destined to join the likes of Salah, Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Fabinho to sign long-term deals at Anfield this summer
Liverpool’s front three, coached by Jurgen Klopp, has developed a reputation for being one of the most feared forces in England this season. Mane is just one-third of that front-three and alongside the selfless Firmino and the devastating Salah, there isn’t a club side in the world that can’t contain them when they’re on song. The next season will be a big one for the club and if there’s success for them it will be down to Mane and co to deliver it.

As you can see, the Liverpool fans in the Tavern are desperate to get Mane tied down long-term and will be optimistic for the new season when he does sign.
