Timm Klose and Christoph Zimmermann have returned to training with the first-team squad.
The defensive duo were pictured on the club’s official Twitter account training with the first-team squad on Thursday ahead of the Norfolk side’s lunchtime kick-off against Chelsea on Saturday.
Klose suffered a hip flexor injury following the penultimate friendly against Atalanta, while, Zimmermann had surgery during the summer on a knee injury.
Without the pair, Norwich were on the end of an opening day mauling at the hands of Liverpool, losing 4-1 as they conceded all four goals in the first half.
They then went on to beat Newcastle United last week Saturday, however, still conceded a goal late in the game.
Following the game against Steve Bruce’s side, Farke said he was pleased with the defensive performance.
He said: “Not only was I pleased with our offensive performance I thought we were brilliant in our defensive performance too.” (Source: Norwich City)
The fans are glad to see the duo return and took to Twitter to react.
