Not good enough: Conte must not start these 2 Chelsea players against Arsenal – agreed?

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to another big game this weekend…

The Blues are set to take on Arsenal in what has become a classic London derby in recent years, with both sides vying for supremacy in the English capital.

The game has seen some big scorelines in recent years, most notably a 6-0 demolition of Arsenal whilst Jose Mourinho was Chelsea boss, so you can never rule out an exciting clash.

Chelsea, in this case, have a lot riding on the game in that they will be seeking revenge for Arsenal’s Community Shield victory at the start of the season. Subsequently, Antonio Conte will be keen to pick his strongest team, and that could mean dropping a few underperforming players in favour of fresh faces.

With that said, Conte should not start these 2 Chelsea players against Arsenal…

 Victor Moses

Victor Moses is unfortunate in that he hasn’t done much wrong this season, but it may still be time for him to step aside.

The Nigerian has always been a square peg in a round hole, and with Davide Zappacosta now coming in, his time may be running out.

Unfortunately for him, Zappacosta excelled on his full debut in the Champions League, and on the back of that performance, he definitely deserves a starting berth.

 Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger has looked okay since moving to Chelsea, but he’s done nothing to suggest that he deserves to start over the likes of Andreas Christensen.

Particularly against Qarabag, he came on and looked very shaky indeed – and that is a problem.

Arsenal will be ruthless in the attack, and Conte can’t afford to use players that are mistake prone. Perhaps Christensen deserves a start after his stellar Champions League performance.
