Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are hoping that their club is going to sign some players in the summer window with their squad certainly thin on the ground.
Indeed, out of the top six clubs Liverpool surely have the weakest squad of all and that cannot go on into next season when some form of European competition will be played at Anfield.
Who the Reds bring in, though, remains to be seen but it appears that they are already working to get players to sign extended deals to keep the squad’s numbers up.
Indeed, Dejan Lovren has signed a new deal with the club but it appears that Reds fans aren’t too sure whether this was the right move.
