Nottingham Forest: Fans heap praise on Tiago Silva after birthday post

As Nottingham Forest midfielder Tiago Silva celebrates his birthday, fans are heaping the praise on him.

The official club Twitter account has wished a happy birthday to the Portuguese playmaker and have followed up with a video of his goal against Birmingham earlier this year.

Silva joined Forest last year from Primeira Liga relegation victims Feirense and has taken well to his new side, scoring three goals and assisting four in his first season with the club (via Transfermarkt).

One Reds fan has commented on the birthday post claiming he is the ‘KDB of Nottingham Forest’. Indeed, Silva boasts 81% pass accuracy and completes an average of 1.2 dribbles per game (via Sofascore).

Another Forest supporter has tweeted that the birthday boy was ‘becoming really influential before the break’, after he scored two goals in five games. His most recent goal was against Cardiff in the club’s final game before the hiatus, in which Silva netted the only goal of the match.
