Aitor Karanka could be set to show two of his senior players the exit at Nottingham Forest in January.
It is understood that Karanka has given the green light for both of them to depart and will listen to offers that come in for the midfield duo.
Watson, who is still Forest’s captain, has not been in the side for the last four Championship matches, whilst Bridcutt continues to fall down the pecking order.
Nottingham Forest have a number of midfield options and it appears that Karanka is ready to offload the players that do not feature in his plans as they look to try and win promotion back to the Premier League.
The Verdict:

Karanka made a number of changes in the summer, bringing in a number of new signings, so it does not come as a surprise to see some bodies leave in the winter.
It is believed the Spaniard wants to add more new faces in January, which could see both Watson and Bridcutt be moved on.
Watson has only made a handful of starts this season before being dropped from the matchday squad altogether, whilst Bridcutt has rarely featured for the City Ground outfit.
