Nottingham Forest drew with Middlesbrough last night in the Sky Bet Championship in a game that swung one way and then the other on Teesside.
The Reds took the lead away from home via a goal from midfielder Ryan Yates with him picking the ball up on the edge of the box and managing to squeeze it into the net.
Two goals from Boro in quick succession, though, flipped the match on its head and for much of the second half they looked as though they were on course for a huge three points in their battle to stay in the division.
However, minutes from full-time, Lewis Grabban made it 2-2 to earn the away side a point and fans will hope that that proves an important one come the end of the campaign. Yates, then, was the man to kick things off last night and with him under a lot of scrutiny at the moment, a fair bit was said on Twitter about his performance.
Let’s take a look at what has been said:
Pleased to see Yates answer some of the doubters and what a clever goal by Grabban to save #NFFC.
Worrall was right, we were indeed pants but good cameos from Bostock and JC. The former is a good footballer, got us passing it and I'd like to see him back in the fold.
