Bournemouth are a side that continue to surprise us in the Premier League and their fans here in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely loving life right now!

As of writing, the Cherries sit tenth in the Premier League and are playing some of their best football in the club’s history.

Manager Eddie Howe can do no wrong and as it stands, the Cherries have got every chance of pushing for a Europa League place come the end of the season.

But as with all sides, there are players that aren’t doing so well and targets that supporters would like to come in to replace them.

The Bournemouth fans in the pub are a rowdy bunch and certainly aren’t short of an opinion or two when it comes to chopping and adding players to the matchday XI.

So with that in mind, here’s one player Eddie Howe should chop from his team and one he should add come January…

In: Leonardo Ulloa

Whilst Leicester City had the most fairytale of seasons last time out, a man that was on the edge of first-team affairs throughout was Leonardo Ulloa.

With Jamie Vardy very much the main man at the King Power, Ulloa had to play third-fiddle to Vardy and Okazaki, both of whom were preferred by manager Claudio Ranieri as the Foxes took home an unlikely Premier League title.

He’s struggling for game-time again this season and he’s a man that would add plenty of endeavour and power to the Bournemouth front-line in a team that should be scoring more goals.

Out: Max Gradel

He’s really not delivered as much as should have since his move to the club in the summer of 2015 and we think it’s time for Max Gradel to get on his bike and cycle away from the Vitality Stadium.

The pacy winger was fantastic for Leeds United and Saint Etienne before his move to the south coast, but as of this season, he’s made just seven appearances scoring one goal.

Getting him off the wage bill and bringing someone else in might be decent move by manager Eddie Howe.
