To a lot of Arsenal fans, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a special player. The Gabonese frontman was the final signing and scored the final goal of the Arsene Wenger era, and, counting pre-season, he’s also scored the first goal of the Unai Emery era. The Arsenal Twitter account tweeted asking fans how goals Auba will get this season and the fans are more than confident it will be a lot.

Aubameyang is one of the most deadly forwards in world football. The 29-year-old spent four and a half years at Borussia Dortmund, scoring goals from everywhere. At the end of his time in germany, the lightening quick striker had bagged himself 141 goals and 36 assists in 213 games for the Dortmund faithful, although playing in front of the famed ‘Yellow wall’ will always help you give that extra 10%.
However, the experienced forward is no longer at Dortmund and has swapped the lively Westfalenstadion for the not quite as lively Emirates Stadium. Aubameyang did get off to a flier at Arsenal, though, and he’s managed to bag himself an impressive ten goals and four assists in just 14 appearances, showing the fans that he doesn’t need an adjustment period and is keen to get to scoring goals quickly, something the supporters will be delighted with as the new season approaches.
