Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will want the mess at Elland Road to be sorted out and they could be on the verge of things improving in the near future.
The Whites are looking for a new manager following the dismissal of Paul Heckingbottom a couple of weeks ago, and Marcelo Bielsa has been named as a strong favourite for the vacant role. Should the Argentine be named in charge of the club, pre-season training could be brought forward and the players will be due for an earlier return.
According to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Leeds squad could be back at Thorp Arch next week, which is seven days ahead of the initially scheduled start. It is believed Victor Orta has already told the first-team players that a decision could mean an earlier start.

The club are thought to be in advanced talks with the former Argentina and Chile manager and it is believed he wants to start working with the club’s players as soon as possible.
Landlord’s Verdict
Leeds could benefit initially with the start of an early pre-season, as it would give Bielsa a chance to assess his players ahead of the Championship season and work out where he needs new additions.
However, many of the locals will feel that the premature start could have the wrong effect on the team and could see the side fail to take advantage, as well as leaving it short for new players to be brought in to the side.
