Liverpool: Fans want to sign Ousmane Dembele

Liverpool have been linked with a whole host of players in recent weeks.

Timo Werner, of course, has been the main one whom the Reds are said to be interested in (BT Sport via The Daily Express), but he is far from the only player reportedly on the Anfield outfit’s radar. AS Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo is one who has been mentioned, whilst there has been plenty of speculation surrounding Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly (Corriere dello Mezzogiorno via TEAMtalk).

Now, there has been another report emerging in regards to Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. The France international was signed by the Blaugrana in 2017 for £96.8m, but he has struggled to make a real impact at the Camp Nou, with injuries playing a big part. Journalist Gianluca di Marzio says that the European champions have made a loan offer with an option to buy for the 23-year-old.

The Reds fans appear to be delighted by the suggestion that they could sign Dembele, indeed this is a player who has scored 41 goals and provided 44 assists in just 153 club appearances (Transfermarkt).
