According to The Sun, Crystal Palace are looking to sign Lucas Lima from Santos but are engaged in pretty tough negotiations with our Eagles in the Transfer Tavern hoping something gets resolved.
The Palace fans are pretty annoyed about how things are going at the moment after they put in a pretty blunt display last night against Manchester United at Selhurst Park.
Despite being at home against one of the biggest sides in the country they just did not get going at all and even though they had the game at 1-1 at one point, they let things go in the last few minutes to lose 2-1.
They need new players, then, but after agreeing a deal for Lucas Lima earlier this year for £12.5 million and he turned it down, they now want to pay £8 million instead as he is nearer the end of his contract.
The Santos man has had a change of heart and is now willing to move but it remains to be seen now whether a deal can be forced through.
