Crystal Palace are back in business after a comprehensive win over Southampton last weekend and oh boy, their fans here in the Transfer Tavern aren’t half relieved about it!
The Eagles had been struggling to maintain any run of form for some time before the 3-0 win over the Saints and there was some serious worry building up amongst the Selhurst Park faithful.
But with a fantastic result against a potential top-eight team in the bag, optimism is certainly higher amongst their supporters here in the Transfer Tavern, with a busy schedule of pre-Christmas games on the horizon.
However, whilst some are slightly happier with how things are going, there are a couple of individuals that some supporters feel should be doing more on the pitch.
And here in the Transfer Tavern, we’re in agreement – Palace have some fantastic players on their current roster and some of them aren’t quite performing to the level expected.
So with that in mind, here’s 2 Crystal Palace stars who Alan Pardew should be getting more out of going forward…
Andros Townsend

There was little doubt that when Andros Townsend signed for the Eagles this summer that he could go on to become one of the star players in their squad.
And whilst he’s been very good at times this season, on other occasions he’s been a little quieter than expected. He’s only scored once so far this campaign, which for a player of his quality, isn’t fantastic.
More goals would be nice but with powerhouse striker Christian Benteke now finding some form, some solid delivery into the box wouldn’t go amiss either.
Frazier Campbell

For a striker with so much proven talent at this level and below, you can’t help but be a little surprised by how little Frazier Campbell has featured in the Palace first-team this season.
Granted, with Christian Benteke now at the club, the Belgian is very much the main man getting the goals.
But, the Cardiff City man really should be doing more to push for the first-team to keep Benteke well and truly on his toes. He’s a pacy customer with a real eye for goal and at times, you wonder why he doesn’t contribute that little bit more, even if it’s from the bench.
