As quoted by londonnewsonline.com, Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has said that it is only normal for scrutiny to come on the club after losing three straight games, indicating he is not worried by their form.
The Eagles fans here in the Transfer Tavern wish they could be as confident as their manager but are worried that the club may be about to go on a similar run of poor form to the one in the second half of last season.
It’s their worst run in just over a year and there have many an Eagle propping up the bar lamenting ‘Pardiola’.
The Selhurst Park club have lost to West Ham, Leicester and Liverpool in the last few weeks in the Premier League but the former Southampton boss is not concerned by the attention that run is getting.
“I actually think Leicester was a good performance, West Ham in the second half was good and the same against Liverpool”, said the former Newcastle coach.
”But we need 90 minutes and to get some points on the board. In the Premier League not doing that for three games is the end of the world – in terms of the media.
”We have to say ‘okay, let’s go back to work and get ourselves going again’.”
The Sout Londoners travel to Turf Moor this weekend to take on Burnley who drew with Manchester United last time out before taking on the other Manchester club, City at Selhurst Park after the international break.
