After a worrying start to the season for the local Crystal Palace fans here in the Transfer Tavern, the club have really turned things around and are looking good for a strong season.
Unbeaten in the league since August, Palace have crept up the league under the radar to sit in the top ten and made a number of good signings towards the end of the Summer window that have really helped out.
Players like Christian Benteke already look set to be a big hit in the team with the service Andros Townsend can give him whilst Steve Mandanda looks an astute piece of business too.
Alan Pardew must be happy with his squad as it is right now but he may be considering sending some players out on loan now he knows who is going to figure this year and who isn’t.
Certainly, our landlord reckons that could be the case and thinks these two, in particular, should look at a temporary move away at least in January…
Jordon Mutch

Mutch is finding it hard to get into the Palace side and a loan move would probably lead onto something more permanent should he do well.
The likes of Yohan Cabaye are ahead of the former Cardiff midfielder in the Selhurst Park pecking order and it would take a pretty substantial effort to try and get ahead of the Frenchman at the moment.
Zeki Fryers

The youngster has been at Manchester United and Tottenham and simply hasn’t been able to make a mark and it looks as though the same is going to happen at Crystal Palace too.
It’s probably time to go on loan a level down and show what he can do as well as improving his confidence which must be pretty low at the moment.
