Liverpool fans, like many others, have often been able to ridicule Manchester United defender Phil Jones.
Sir Alex Ferguson once said the 28-year-old could be the best player in the club’s history, but that has failed to materialise. He has managed to make 224 appearances for the Red Devils since signing for them in July on 2011, but he has played just twice in the league this season and often seems more well-known for the faces he pulls during games rather than his actual ability.
Now, he has a rather interesting admission. He told MUTV that he had the chance to sign for the Anfield outfit before deciding to make the switch to United instead.
