‘Please make this happen Jurgen’ - Liverpool fans are keen for Klopp to land £54m-rated ace

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are eager for Jurgen Klopp to finish the season well. The Reds have enjoyed a decent campaign thus far, and with a top-four finish still a very realistic possibility, it’s looking set to be a very exciting couple of months at Anfield.

However, despite the importance being placed on the current season, that doesn’t mean that some fans aren’t already looking ahead to the summer.

To the contrary, most fans are often keen to look at their side’s summer plans way ahead of time, and this season is no different.

Indeed, one potential deal that has generated a large amount of excitement regards RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner. According to Sport Bild, Klopp is a big fan of the German attacker – and he apparently hopes to bring him to Anfield this summer.

Werner has enjoyed a fantastic couple of years at Leipzig, and he’s already bagged 11 league goals this term, and so he’d clearly offer Liverpool a lot going forward.

It’s fair to say that the striker, who is rated at £54 million by Transfer Markt, is a popular man amongst Liverpool circles, with fans recently taking to Twitter to discuss the move. It’s fair to say that it would go down very well with the Anfield faithful.

Would obviously love #LFC to go after Werner but hearing this morning there are no intentions to sign a striker. Torn on this to be honest. Think Firmino needs more cover and competition but obviously Klopp is confident in Ings, Solanke and Brewster and I’ll back that.
