The Newcastle fans in the Transfer Tavern have been urging their club to sign their on-loan Brazilian star, Kenedy. The midfielder has been voted as Newcastle’s player of the month for March, being chosen ahead of defenders Paul Dummett and Florian Lejeune after helping his side to two wins in three games in the month, scoring twice and registering one assist.

Kenedy!

Kenedy swapped Stamford Bridge for St James Park on a temporary basis in January and has played a major part in the club’s upturn in form in 2018. Rafa Benitez’ side now sit ten points clear of the drop zone with six games to play as the fans look forward to having another season in England’s top flight after coming up from the Championship last year.
The fans will feel a whole lot more confident going into next year if they can keep their Brazilian winger. Chelsea signed Kenedy from Fluminense in summer 2015 and have struggled to find a consistent place for him in the starting eleven. The youngster went out on-loan to Watford for the first half of the 2016/17 season and failed to make a real impact at Vicarage Road. Now though, Kenedy looks to have found a home and a fan base that is ready to get behind him in the North East.
