Everton fans may still be drooling over their side’s performance against Chelsea prior to the start of the international break, as they completely outplayed the Blues at Goodison Park.
The Toffees can now turn their attentions towards securing a European spot after picking up an important three points, but the likes of Watford and Wolves may be hard to catch as they continue to grind out results.
However, Marcel Brands may be able to solve the Toffees’ striker issue in the summer, as according to the Daily Star, Everton are interested in signing Salomon Rondon.

MARCEL BRANDS LANDS PROVEN GOALSCORER
The one thing that Everton have lacked in the current campaign has been a proven goalscorer at the pinnacle of the attack, as Cenk Tosun has let everybody at the club down since joining last year.
Salomon Rondon has been on fire at St James’ Park, producing an impressive nine goals and five assists in 25 Premier League appearances. And, he scored 10 goals for the Baggies last season. He may not be prolific but he certainly knows how to find the back of the net at important times.
Indeed, it’s safe to say that the Venezuela international can guarantee the goals that have gone missing this season, so Everton will have one less thing to worry about if Brands bags the 29-year-old.
WAVE GOODBYE TO CENK TOSUN
Cenk Tosun’s future is already in doubt at Goodison Park as fans continue to slate him for his performances, and rightly so, as he’s managed to produce just three goals in 25 appearances.
Indeed, the potential arrival of Salomon Rondon could be the writing on the wall for the Turkey international as he’d be pushed even further down the pecking order, and Marco Silva could then decide to offload the forward.
