It’s not often that people are talking about Liverpool having a genuine chance at winning some silverware but it seems set to be their year.
After spending far more than anyone else over the summer, the Reds could have their best chance yet at bringing some silverware back to Anfield, namely the Premier League trophy with Liverpool remaining unbeaten in the league.
Yet still, the Sun are reporting that Liverpool could further their transfer record by recruiting Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele in January.
The tricky French winger has had a torrid time with the Spanish giants after failing to live up to the £105 million transfer fee Barcelona paid for him.
Six goals in 15 appearances has gone some way into showing what he is really capable of but a move to Liverpool could bring out the best of him, like a move to Anfield has done for many other players.
So what could this massive bid mean for Liverpool…
Roberto Firmino benched

With an extremely talented front-line, it will be tough on anyone to be replaced in the team.
After scoring just two goals in the league this season though, it maybe Firmino who is benched in a bid to reignite his form and willingness to try even harder to find the back of the net.
Dembele is far from an out-and-out striker but an interchanging front-line between him, Salah and Mane could wreak havoc against other Premier League sides.
New-look attack

None of Liverpool’s attackers have been at their best this season and by bringing in Ousmane Dembele, it could push them to be a lot more consistent, as they know the Frenchman is eagerly waiting in the wing. Just imagine the fluidity, it’s scary.
