Aston Villa and owners NSWE by extension are seriously eyeing a move for Villarreal attacker Samuel Chukwueze, according to reports.

New manager and former La Liga boss Unai Emery, who guided Villarreal to the Champions League semi-finals last season, has reportedly been taking real interest in his ex-players.
Moving to the Premier League with new club Villa, the former Arsenal head coach has apparently set his sights on striker Nicolas Jackson with an out-of-window approach made.

As per a fresh report, it appears Jackson isn’t the only Villarreal player wanted by Emery.
Football Insider claim Villa, and owners NSWE by extension, hold a ‘concrete’ interest in signing Nigeria international Chukwueze as well.
The Verdict: Right man?
The 23-year-old is a player of real potential and attacking threat who can make a difference when given the opportunity.
Injury problems haven’t helped Chukwueze’s playing time over the last two seasons, not least his groin and hamstring issues of 2020/2021, but his threat in the final third is evident.
As per WhoScored, over the player’s 27 La Liga appearances last season, he averaged more dribbles per 90 than any of his Villareal teammates – highlighting exactly why Emery reportedly wants to take him to Villa.
Called a ‘terrifying’ direct player and potential ‘superstar in the making’ by members of the media in recent seasons, perhaps Chukwueze could rediscover that promise in the Midlands.
