Bernd Leno is one man that Arsenal fans really want to see start

Arsenal fans on Twitter have been waiting for their club’s five new faces to make their debuts. So far, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Stephan Lichtsteiner have all made their debuts and impressed, the only one left is Bernd Leno and the fans are desperate to see him.

Petr Cech has started The Gunners first three league games against Manchester City, Chelsea and West Ham and the club are yet to keep a clean sheet in any of those three games. The Gunners, though, are getting desperate to see Leno start at The Emirates, with the athletic German stopper sitting on the bench whilst the veteran Cech continues to receive abuse from Arsenal fans.

Cech has been a great servant to the Premier league but The Gunners are of the opinion that it’s about time Leno gets to start between the sticks. The majority of supporters want to see the 26-year-old starting sooner rather than later. With Cech helping to mentor the ex-Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper there’s no telling how good the German can get and he’s in the right place as Unai Emery attempts to make Arsenal the powerhouse side they once were.

The Gunners are keen to see the German play soon and will be hoping he can make the position between the sticks at The Emirates his own.
