During Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge, Willian came in for plenty of criticism.

The Brazilian came off the bench to replace Christian Pulisic in the second half to play his first minutes of the Premier League season, but after his short cameo, he had plenty of fans slating his display, although the 31-year-old hardly covered himself in glory.
In his short appearance in front of his home fans, Willian completed just seven of his 11 attempted passes, was dribbled past once and was caught offside once, per WhoScored, hardly impressive stats for a man who Frank Lampard came on to give his side an added boost in pursuit of three points.

The Blues, as you can quite clearly see, were far from happy with Willian’s efforts and it’s now up to Lampard to decide how involved his new #10 is in the coming weeks.
