Plenty of Crystal Palace fans have hit out at Joachim Andersen on social media for his performance against Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.

Patrick Vieira named the same side which drew 1-1 with Brighton last time out, sticking with a 4-3-3 system. That meant the 25-year-old kept his place in the team at centre-back, keeping up his record of featuring in every Premier League game this season.

The Denmark international, who cost the club just under £16m in the summer, partnered Marc Guehi at the back but had an afternoon to forget against the Foxes.

He was at fault for Kelechi Iheanacho's opener after losing the ball cheaply and didn't cover himself in glory for Jamie Vardy's effort a few moments later as the Eagles battled back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw.

Andersen lost the ball on 22 occasions and failed to make a tackle or a block. Indeed, as per Sofascore, he was Palace's lowest-rated player on the day with a measly 5.8.

Awful half for Andersen. It’s all well and good looking pretty, but we can’t not win every week.
