Everton: Fans call for Silva to be sacked after Bournemouth defeat

Many Everton supporters have been calling for Marco Silva to be sacked after the Blues fell to a 3-1 defeat away to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.
The result left Everton eleventh in the Premier League table, having taken two wins from their opening five games of the campaign, which occurred either side of falling to defeat away to Aston Villa.
Everton have not won a top-flight tie away from Goodison Park since beating West Ham United 2-0 at the London Stadium in March (TransferMarkt), after which they have played six fixtures on the road – including the defeat to Bournemouth at the weekend.
Struggling for form on the road has been a regular theme for the Toffees since Silva took charge of the Merseyside outfit in the summer of 2018, with the Portuguese head coach only boasting Premier League victories away to Leicester City, Burnley, Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City and the Irons.
On the flip side, Everton have lost eleven games including the Cherries result and drawn six encounters when playing as the away side, but have only lost five of 21 fixtures played at Goodison Park and are currently on a six-game winning streak at home.
The Goodison Park natives have also conceded 30 goals away from home since Silva joined the club as the replacement for one-time England boss Sam Allardyce.
Everton sacking Silva would make the Portuguese the second Premier League head coach to be relieved of his duties this season, after Watford parted ways with Javi Gracia after the Spaniard failed to win any of his opening four league games in charge.
The Toffees took until October 23 (BBC) to part ways with former manager Ronald Koeman, though, whom the Blues dismissed after winning just two of his nine Premier League games that season, which left the Merseyside outfit 18th in the table.
Here are a few of the messages shared by Blues supporters calling for owner Farhad Moshiri to make a huge change at Goodison Park by sacking Silva…

Silva can’t keep relying on the sirens to get him out of jail… He needs to sort this away form out. 1 in 9 away from home is relegation form against Bournemouth, villa and palace teams we should be beating if we have any chance of top 6. After today Silva is in trouble! #EFC
