A last-gasp own goal from Lucas Digne broke Toffees’ hearts as they managed to let a 2-1 lead slip at the Amex Stadium.
The loss against the south coast side now means that the Portuguese manager’s side have only won two out of their last seven Premier League games and have lost six out of their first 10 games of the new campaign.
The Toffees are now two points above the relegation places after the Seagulls jumped above them in the table to 14th.
