Loads of Everton fans heaped praise on midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin following his side’s 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Toffees kept their impressive form going under the watchful eye of Carlo Ancelotti as they got over the line once again against the south London side. Goals from Bernard, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin ensured that the Merseyside club moved right in the fight for European contention and into seventh place. However, one man received surprise plaudits after intense scrutiny in recent months.
Schneiderlin, 30, stood out with fans as one of the stars of the show after a superb effort in midfield and his statistics illustrate that. He made four tackles, won six out of his nine duels, completed all six of his long passes and had a pass success rate of 86%, as per Sofascore. Supporters were delighted for the Frenchman and made their feelings clear on social media.
