Over the last few weeks, Liverpool have looked like a shadow of the side that finished 4th and made the Champions League final last season. The Reds look lethargic in attack and a number of their stars are looking sluggish and out of form. None more so than young Trent Alexander-Arnold. The 20-year-old full-back has been shocking as of late and the fans are desperate to see him dropped.

After suffering an awfully humiliating defeat to Champions League rank outsiders Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday night you can see why the fans have been calling for a few changes. The main one if TAA, though, as his recent form wasn’t exclusive to the Red Star clash, the young defender hasn’t looked himself this season and after being apart of England’s successful World Cup squad that reached the semi-finals he hasn’t got back to form at club level.
To be fair to the youngster, if there was ever going to be a game to throw the misfiring youngster into it would be a home clash against the team at the foot of the table, and that’s what they face next as Slavisa Jokanovic’s Fulham travel to Anfield in shocking form. If Alexander-Arnold can get a runout and hurt the Fulham backline going forward whilst keeping a clean-sheet at the other end then the confidence boost will be huge, and that’s exactly what the fans want to see.
You can read The Kopites’s calls to drop TAA here:
No Trent at the moment, he needs to sits for a while. Gomez on the right side and Lovren CB

Trent 100% needs to come out

I like it with one exception TAA out and Clyne in. Although clyne is not as prolific going forward… he's a much better defender and needs to be reintegrated back into the starting 11

I'd also take TAA out for a spell, put Clyne in

I would drop Trent for clyne and maybe even mane or salah give solanke or origin a go

Trent our Clyne in being the only change I’d make there

The Reds are desperate to see TAA drop out for Fulham this weekend, however, Jurgen Klopp will know it could be a good game for the defender to regain some much needed form.
