Liverpool fans on Twitter believe that this Anfield flop will eventually come good

Dominic Solanke cuts a frustrated figure at Liverpool. The young English striker made 27 appearances last season for The Reds. albeit with most of them from the bench. He only managed one goal, a well-taken strike against Brighton in a 4-0 on the final day, however, he’s yet to play a single minute this season and his future has been thrown up in the air.

The player himself has taken to the Liverpool website to share his thoughts on Jurgen Klopp, hailing the German as a great developer and a lot of Liverpool fans have been commenting on how they believe the ex-Chelsea prospect will come good at Anfield eventually. It was around this time last season when the Liverpool man got a call-up to the England squad for matches against Brazil and Germany, although he looks miles away from the national team now.

The next step for Solanke could see him doing exactly what he left Chelsea to avoid doing: going out on loan. Whilst at Chelsea the striker knew how things worked at Stamford Bridge and escaped to Liverpool on a permanent deal to try and get more first-team opportunities. That simply isn’t possible at the moment though and the revival of Daniel Sturridge will only further hinder Solanke’s chances as the striker aims to become an important Anfield figure.

The Reds will be keen to see Solanke grow as a player and will hope that maybe with a loan spell away, he can kick on in his career on Merseyside.
