Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has had to battle for minutes so far this season, but the future looks bright.
Should Phil Foden leave Manchester City?
Stockport-born midfielder Foden has steadily risen as part of Pep Guardiola’s future first-team plans at City, despite not playing regularly so far, with the Englishman’s latest contribution before tonight’s clash against Atalanta coming in a 2-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb – a match where he grabbed the second goal in the dying minutes.
The 19-year-old also made a crucial contribution in the title race last season, scoring the winning goal at home to Tottenham with a diving header inside the first five minutes.
As a result, City fans want to see one of their own become a real staple of this side sooner rather than later – evident by their reaction to rumours linking the club with a move for Real Madrid’s Isco.
Have a look at what they have had to say below…
No need. We got Foden.

Seems like bill since Pep literally said Foden will take Silva’s place. Isco is not needed. Poor mans Bernardo.
