Manchester United: Fans unhappy over Chelsea’s transfer interest in Dean Henderson

Manchester United are ready to offer Dean Henderson a new contract but the goalkeeper is still undecided on his future.
According to Manchester Evening News, Henderson, who is Sheffield United’s number one ‘keeper, has been flooded by multiple offers but does not expect to be sold in the summer. Chelsea are interested in the 23-year-old, who has spent the past two seasons on loan at Bramall Lane, as he has impressed as the Blades have surged to the upper reaches of the Premier League table.
Earlier this month, ESPN reported that Manchester United are prepared to hand the academy graduate a new deal, and an agreement is expected to be reached before Tuesday. However, nothing has been agreed yet, and Henderson has reportedly only signed short-term extensions in the past so he can keep his options open.
Who should be United's keeper next season?
Dean Henderson
David de Gea
He is currently valued at a mere £13m via Transfermarkt and his contract is set to expire in two years time. After another error from first-choice ‘keeper David de Gea during the draw with Tottenham last week, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under mounting pressure to promote the Englishman ahead of the Spain international.
Unsurprisingly, many United fans slammed Chelsea’s interest in Henderson, with one supporter saying there is “no chance” the board will sell him while another complained that it is “nonsense” for the youngster to simply be promised a spot between the sticks at Old Trafford, given his young age.

I think its high time we start to bench De Gea.. Romero even performs better than the dude at times why not give Henderson chance

There is no chance we sell Henderson to them. He's going to be De Gea's successor, he's got a long future ahead of him at United.

Clubs should never be run on emotions. Love De Gea but it’s time for Dean to take over next season.
